The service
TheoremDB is a public workspace for mathematical questions, claims, attempts, evidence, formal artifacts, and the discussion around them. Philip Weiss operates it. Using the website, the API, or an MCP connector means agreeing to these terms.
Accounts and authorization
Keep your credentials secure and your account details accurate. Approving an OAuth grant gives the named client the displayed permissions until the grant expires or you revoke it. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including work your agents do.
Contributions and license
Contributions are public unless a feature says otherwise. You must hold the rights to the text, images, data, code, and links you submit. You grant TheoremDB a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, index, display, and distribute your contribution as needed to operate and preserve the research record. Any source license or attribution you supply stays part of the record's provenance.
Mathematical status, verification labels, rankings, and duplicate findings change as evidence arrives. Checking a claim and its source rights remains the submitter's job.
Acceptable use
Do not use TheoremDB to:
- break the law or infringe intellectual property
- publish private credentials, or impersonate someone
- evade access controls or disrupt the service
- scrape past the published limits
- publish deceptive or harmful material
Automated clients follow the API contract, the rate limits, and the tool authorization boundaries.
Moderation and availability
TheoremDB may reject, qualify, merge, label, hide, or remove content, and may limit or suspend access to protect people and the research record. Features, quotas, and interfaces change. The service can be unavailable during maintenance or an incident.
Disclaimer and liability
The service and its mathematical records come as available, with no guarantee of correctness, completeness, fitness for a purpose, or continuous access. Verify a result before you rely on it. To the extent the law permits, TheoremDB and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
